Services

The St. Peter's family meets together to worship God, to learn from Him through the Bible, and to pray, each Sunday morning. On two Sundays per month there is a service of Holy Communion at 9.00am. This is a said service, following the Book of Common Prayer. This is a traditional service, reflective and includes a full sermon. There is always a service at 10h30 throughout the year. During term times, Sunday School groups meet in the Church Centre during the first part of the service, rejoining the adults for communion. The form of service and other services vary through the month. The first Sunday of the month is a Family Service sometimes following the structure of a Service of the Word. (This is a service that includes liturgy, drama, contemporary worship and lots of interaction) The pattern of services is as follows (although this may be subject to change during holidays and festival periods; see the Programme section for more details):
